The #QFL Competition Committee received a formal rule change proposal today. The rule would allow for 5 WRs and no RBs as a legal offensive set.

Any new rule must pass a majority vote standard prior to July 15 for the new rule to go into effect in the same season. This proposal is expected to have wide support among members.

The Proposal.

I’m formally proposing a new formation for consideration: The Empty BackField.

Legal Lineup for Empty Backfield

1 QB

0 RB

5 WR

0 TE

1 K

1 D

Due to the Constitution’s Section 8, Article 1 provision for Tight Ends, this lineup would also be legal w/ 3WRs and 2 TEs.

Also making the rounds is a proposal to amend rookie contract (“R”) pricing but nothing formal has been submitted. Rishi’s dream rule to enable him to raid other peoples practice squads will probably surface at some point this year as well.
