In an email communication to his League this afternoon, General Radeck expressed his hope to open free agency bidding by tomorrow night. Radeck went on to explain the free agency bidding process using A.S.S., including\u00c2\u00a0tree bids.<\/p>\n
In the off-season there is no way for A.S.S. to resolve ties. Then throw in the ability to make tree bids and you have the makings of an administrative nightmare. The first QFL has been doing off-season free agency via email for years for a reason. Radeck is about to find out why. <\/p>\n

I am going to do my very best to put all the players in by tomorrow night.\u00c2\u00a0 I would like the system to be up for free agency to run starting Wednesday but I may not have enough time.\u00c2\u00a0 I will let you all know by tomorrow morning if I was successful. \u00c2\u00a0 Below are the instruction for waivers, free agent bidding & tree bids.<\/p>\n
So keep in mind that Tuesdays
\nare waiver wire day and Wednesdays are free agency day.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 What’s the
\ndifference? Waiver wire consists of any player dropped the previous
\nweek, with their salary and contract intact.The team with the worst record has first crack at him. All waiver wire moves should be made by 11:59 on Tuesday.<\/p>\nWith free agency highest bid gets the player. tiebreaker is your team’s standing.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0Remember, all
\nplayers picked up on through free agency are 1st years (L1)<\/p>\nHere are instructions
\ninstructions for free agency bids are different:
\n1- under manage my team on the left go to “add player – FAAB bid”
\n2- from the next screen just choose “continue” DO NOT PICK A PLAYER TO
\nDROP (you have 24 hours after a successful bid to correct your roster).
\n3- select the player you want from the scroll down menu and choose “add
\nto list”
\n4- the player will appear below with a field to enter the salary you
\nwant to bid.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0enter the salary and hit “submit my bids”\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0UNLESS you want
\nto place what we call a “tree bid”.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0that is a bid on multiple players
\nbut you only want one.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0for instance if you want to pick up a bye week
\nfill-in kicker. you have to have a kicker that week so you might want to
\nbid on more than one in case there is a tie for the kicker you want, but
\nyou dont want to risk not having a kicker.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0you can bid on the top 5
\nkickers with one “tree bid”.<\/p>\nTree Bids
\n1 – follow steps 1-2 above
\n2- from the select a player scroll down list select the player you want
\nMOST and choose “add to list”.
\n3- DO NOT select submit bids, instead choose the player you want second
\nmost from the scroll down menu.
\n4- repeat as often as you want
\n5- enter the amounts you want to bid in the fields next tot he players
\nand choose “submit my bids”.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0The evaluator program will award players
\nstarting with the player you bid the most on. If you bid an equal amount
\non two players, the program will try to award them in the order in which
\nyou select them on the page. You will be given just one player from your
\nlist.<\/p>\n– To delete a free agent bid (or waiver claim) before the evaluator runs
