Quite simply, if you are in<br \/>\nthe winners&#8217; bracket, and you want a chance to win an extra prize in<br \/>\naddition to individual league payout, you need to set a Week 14<br \/>\nlineup, even if you have a bye.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>REMEMBER, THE SUPER QUINCE BOWL CHAMPION IS THE INDIVIDUAL QFL LEAGUE<br \/>\nCHAMPION WITH THE HIGHEST AGGREGATE SCORING TOTAL DURING WEEKS 14-16.<\/p>\n<p>As such, teams in the losers&#8217; bracket are ineligible to win the Super<br \/>\nQuince Bowl Championship. In addition, teams in the winners&#8217; bracket<br \/>\nthat lose during the playoffs are also ineligible (so even if your<br \/>\nteam scores a gazillion points in Weeks 14 and 15, but chokes in the<br \/>\nindividual league championship game, sorry, but your team is<br \/>\ndisqualified).<\/p>\n<p>With QFL IV no longer participating, the 2010 SuperQuince payouts are<br \/>\nas follows:<\/p>\n<p>Individual League Champion with Highest Cumulative Week 14-16 Point Total = $500<br \/>\nRunner Up = $250<br \/>\nThird Place = $150<\/p>\n<p>Good luck in the playoffs!<\/p>\n<p>Rule 25. The QFL Parallel League System (QPLS)<\/p>\n<p>SECTION 1 QPLS PRIZE MONEY<\/p>\n<p>Article 2 is deleted and replaced with:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;&#8221;The Super Quince Bowl Champion (I hate that lucky bastard)&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The total amount of the PLPP shall be distributed amongst individual<br \/>\nQuince Bowl winners. The largest amount of the QPLS prize money is<br \/>\nawarded to the league champion in the QPLS with the highest aggregate<br \/>\nscoring total during Weeks 14-16 (the &#8220;Super Quince Bowl Champion&#8221;),<br \/>\nthe second largest amount is awarded to the second highest aggregate<br \/>\nscoring total during this period, and the remaining PLPP participants<br \/>\nshall receive a &#8220;participation award.&#8221; Starting in the 2008-2009<br \/>\nseason, the distribution shall be $500, $250 and $150, respectively.<br \/>\nFor each new individual league that joins the QPLS, an additional $150<br \/>\nparticipation award shall be added to the PLPP, and the remaining<br \/>\nfunds shall be distributed between the Super Quince Bowl Champion and<br \/>\nthe runner-up at a 2:1 ratio.<\/p>\n<p>Before Week 14, the Commissioner of QFL I or his designee shall send<br \/>\nan email to each team-owner in the QPLS reminding them that<br \/>\nirrespective of whether a team has a bye during the first week of the<br \/>\nplayoffs, Week 14 point totals are included towards the aggregate<br \/>\namount of points counted for the PLPP grand prize.
