The condition being that if Morris doesn’t finish in the top ten of RB per QFL scoring (2012) than you (Doug) have the option of deferring the 1st rd pick to 2015.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

This is a very interesting trade, can we get some details in the comments? This may be the first time (possibly second) that a rookie pick that is two years out has been traded. Also, the consideration is interesting. It looks like Jason tried to provide Doug with an assurance that Alfred Morris isn’t going to peter out over the rest of the season by giving him the option to defer the 1st round pick to three years from now if he does. By that time no one will even remember how Jason got Doug’s pick. Who was the driver of this trade? Was Jason after Tannehill or was Doug after Morris? I am guessing Jason LOVES Tannehill for some reason. From where I sit now, Doug got a great deal, but if Tannehill has staying power and Alfred Morris turns out to be a flash in the pan, Doug just got ripped off big time.<\/p>\n
