West:
\nPimps plays Qonies for the division title. If Pimps wins, then at 8-5 he wins division and captures a bye with a loss by Membrillos (at 8-5 Pimps has HTH over Membrillos). Pimps can be the overall #1 seed if he wins and both Membrillos and Sooms lose. In a 3 way tie, Pimps wins out on points scored. With a win and a Membrillos win Pimps would have the #3 seed (Sooms beats Pimps on HTH TB). With a loss, Pimps finishes 2nd in the West if Polaq beats NOJOQ, but 3rd if NOJOQ beats Polaq. If he finishes 2nd, Pimps would be the 4th seed with an MDW loss or 5th seed with an MDW win. If he finishes 3rd, NOJOQ takes the 4th seed, and Pimps takes the 5th seed with an MDW win or 6th seed with an MDW loss. Bottom line is Pimps is in the playoffs, but could have ANY of the top 6 seeds.
\nQonies will win the division and the #3 seed with a win over Pimps. A loss would place him 3rd in the division at 6-7 behind the winner of the NOJOQ vs Polaq game, but ahead of the loser on HTH over NOJOQ and division record over Polaq. That would put him in a favorable position IF a 6-7 team makes the playoffs as he loses only a TB against Quahogs amongst other potential 6-7 teams. However, with a loss, Qonies misses out on the playoffs with wins by Catch and MDW.\u00c2\u00a0 If Catch loses and MDW wins then Qonies wins TB over Catch (who would still be 2nd in the South by TB’s no matter what) by points and over FantasyEnemy or MDW\u00c2\u00a0by HTH to take the 6th seed.\u00c2\u00a0 If Catch wins and MDW loses then……if Bombers beats Quahogs and Enemy loses (MDW is then 2nd in the North), Qonies wins 6th seed by HTH over MDW and Bombers in this TB……if Bombers beats Quahogs and Enemy\u00c2\u00a0wins (Enemy passes MDW by TB in the North) , Qonies wins 6th seed by HTH over\u00c2\u00a0Bombers and Enemy\u00c2\u00a0in this TB……if Quahogs beats Bombers and Enemy loses (MDW is then 2nd in the North), Quahogs wins 6th seed in this TB by HTH over both MDW and Qonies….if Quahogs beats Bombers and Enemy wins (Enemy passes MDW by TB in the North) , Quahogs wins 6th seed in this TB by HTH over Enemy and Qonies.<\/p>\n
For Qonies, it appears that the bottom line is WIN and grab the 3 seed, lose and grab the 6th seed with a loss by Catch or the 5th seed with losses by both Catch and MDW.<\/p>\n
NOJOQ cannot win the West, but with a win over Polaq he finishes 2nd in the West no matter what and claims the 4th seed in the playoffs.\u00c2\u00a0 NOJOQ beats both Catch and MDW on HTH TB’s in the event they all end up 7-6.\u00c2\u00a0 In that scenario, if Pimps lost to Qonies, the next teams to be compared would be Pimps, Catch and MDW.\u00c2\u00a0 MDW would end up the 5th seed by HTH over Pimps and Catch. Pimps would be the 6th seed by HTH over Catch.\u00c2\u00a0 Catch would be out of the playoffs at 7-6.\u00c2\u00a0 However, if Pimps defeats Qonies, then MDW and Catch fall into the 5th and 6th seeds respectively behind NOJOQ.\u00c2\u00a0 If NOJOQ loses he finishes 4th in the West at 6-7.\u00c2\u00a0 In that case he’d need both Catch and MDW to lose as well as a loss by Enemy to grab the 6th seed.\u00c2\u00a0 In that case the entire West division would be in the playoffs….that also reveals the only scenario (yes it exists) that FantasyEnemy could end up with the 6th seed in the playoffs…..losses by NOJOQ, MDW, Pimps\u00c2\u00a0and Catch and a victory over Membrillos (as Enemy wins TB with MDW in division and wins HTH TB over Catch and NOJOQ).<\/p>\n
Polaq cannot win the division, but will place 2nd in the West with a win if Pimps beat Qonies.\u00c2\u00a0 In that case Polaq can be the 4th seed with a loss by MDW or the 5th seed with an MDW win.\u00c2\u00a0 If Polaq wins but Qonies defeats Pimps then Polaq finishes 3rd in the West (by TB’s in a 3 way 7-6 tie) behind Qonies and Pimps.\u00c2\u00a0 In that case (see Pimps 2nd place scenarios above) Qonies is 3 seed and……..a) MDW wins and gets 4th seed, Pimps gets 5th seed and Polaq gets the 6th seed (even if Catch wins by HTH TB)……..b) MDW loses, Pimps are 4th seed, Polaq is 5th seed and Catch is the 6th seed with a win or with a Catch loss Qonies takes 6th seed at 6-7 as noted above.\u00c2\u00a0 There is no scenario where a 6-7 Polaq team makes the playoffs, so win and in but lose and out.<\/p>\n
South:<\/p>\n
Sooms has clinched the division.\u00c2\u00a0 Sooms can be the #1 seed with a win and a Membrillos loss.\u00c2\u00a0 Sooms is the #2 seed with a Membrillos win even if Sooms loses.\u00c2\u00a0 Sooms is the #3 seed with a loss and a Membrillos loss combined with a Pimps win.<\/p>\n
Catch is locked in as the 2nd place team in the South.\u00c2\u00a0 With a win this week Catch gets in the playoffs except in the case of\u00c2\u00a05 (7-6) teams\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0noted above.\u00c2\u00a0 With a loss at 6-7, I don’t believe there is a scenario that Catch makes the playoffs.<\/p>\n
Bombers is locked out of the playoffs.<\/p>\n
Quahogs can capture the 6th seed as laid out in Qonies listing above…..not retyping that.<\/p>\n
North:<\/p>\n
Membrillos has clinched division and claims overall #1 seed with a win or losses by Sooms AND Pimps.\u00c2\u00a0 Membrillos is #2 seed with a loss if Sooms wins and Pimps loses or if Sooms and Pimps both lose.\u00c2\u00a0 Membrillos can be as low as the 3rd seed if he loses and both Sooms and Pimps win.<\/p>\n
Morning Damien Woody is in the playoffs with a win.\u00c2\u00a0A (7-6) MDW can be the 4th seed as described in Polaq scenarios or 5th as described in the NOJOQ scenarios.\u00c2\u00a0 If he can finish 7-6 and get the 6th seed…..I can’t see it.\u00c2\u00a0 I also don’t see MDW making the playoffs with a loss.<\/p>\n
Fantasy Enemy #1 has to win and 4 of the other 5 games to go as planned to grab the 6th seed…..also already described above.<\/p>\n
Deep Fried Turduckins were eliminated, I think, even before they lost last week.<\/p>\n
So, possible errors aside, 10 teams are still playing for the playoffs in Week 13.\u00c2\u00a0 It’s possible to have a 7-6 Catch team left out of the playoffs, but it’s also possible we’ll have up to 2 (6-7) in the playoffs.<\/p>\n
