QFL Thrice’s Fourth Annual Free Agent Auction & Rookie Draft is looking like it will be held over the weekend of August 13th in DC. That would make the cut-to-8 deadline around July 31. The rest of August is off the table due to Godino’s wedding and bachelor party.<\/p>\n
Several impassioned pleas were made today asking that the auction not be scheduled over labor day weekend as it was last year. The funniest….<\/p>\n
I’m going to make my plea to not do this over Labor Day weekend again.\u00c2\u00a0 I’m planning on continuing (subject to this damn league agreeing to the fact that if a player of yours goes down after the transaction period you can pick up someone – mostly a K since you only have to have 1 kicker on your roster and I got screwed by this last year).\u00c2\u00a0 If they don’t change that rule, I quit (because then it’s some fantasy league and not supposed to “simulate” the real NFL GM experience and I’m not giving up my dungeons and dragons group to play some other fantasy game<\/strong>, I want the real life experience).
