Last Thursday I was asked to make a change in the Waiver Wire and Free Agents settings ( originated by QFL 1) to set the priority order to \u00e2\u20ac\u0153reverse order of standings\u00e2\u20ac\u009d (I was told to set to non-serpentine). It appears I fucked this up – as Fantrax software allows the setting for both FA & WW to non-serpentine. In making this change, the software set the Free Agent Claim System to \u00e2\u20ac\u0153automated priority\u00e2\u20ac\u009d \u00e2\u20ac\u201c thus locking waiver wires. This setting also appears to have prevented the ability to bid on certain FA players for reasons that are unclear and not specified I the Fantrax settings help page. (Note that this change ONLY affected FA, did not impact WW.)<\/p>\n
I was not alerted to any problems with Fantrax FA until last night around midnight by Reuven(Sooms) when he emailed stating that RG3 was still listed as WW; that he had \u00e2\u20ac\u0153inadvertently\u00e2\u20ac\u009d dropped Detroit defense and most importantly that he was unable to make some FA bids. It is impossible to know exactly who experienced problems or what, b\/c there were valid FA bids successfully made. Based on the transaction history, there were 3 teams that made FA bids: Membrillos, Sooms & Turds. Catch42 also claims he was unable to enter a bid for Taliaferro, but that he was going to bid higher than $1. In fairness to everyone in QFL2, the best approach is to rewind (invalidate) last night\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s FA bids and start fresh next week. <\/p>\n I phoned most teams involved to discuss the potential of setting FA for tonight. At this rate, there is a 3 or 4 hour window to re-bid. The short window is just not fair to everyone involved. Therefore, ALL of yesterday\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s transactions will be removed.<\/strong><\/p>\n I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m fining myself $20 for not doing the due diligence of confirming with the \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Masters\u00e2\u20ac\u009d at Q1.
