  1. I cut this trade Sunday morning because I didn’t think I could trust the Pats D and I was starting a horrific line up that included a RB in shared backfield, 2 TEs and a WR who wasn’t even starting. So of course, I benched that WR (Cruz, 16.9 points) for my new “stud” acquisition (Lloyd, 1.8 points), which resulted in my actually losing 15.1 points. I lost by 14.16 points.

Of course, I also started the Giants D instead of the Pats D, which was a net 5 point gain, so if I hadn’t cut the trade at all and went with my original line up, I would have lost by 4.06 points.

I still feel like Lloyd will be more dependable than Torain over the long term and even though the Giants D isn’t all that, it’s still good to have another option at D/ST with the way the Pats and Browns have been struggling.

However, it’s painful to know that I could have won this game if I somehow had decided to play the Giants D and Cruz.

  2. How could BQ rape not one, but two teams? If anything he should have payed a homer premium for Mendy.
