Since we are operating out of Fantrax for the playoffs we do not need weekly scoring to be done by hand.

Some of you may have noticed that a few teams scores were not being counted due to illegal rosters. That was because our settings were copied from QFL1. They have their settings tightly restricted to bar almost any illegal line ups. Without going into detail I changed our league roster settings to accommodate all of our teams who are fielding the correct number of position players, Scores were then automatically updated and are currently accurate, except for the scores that include ineligible players.

MDW’s score for the purposes of our pool competition will be reduced by the points scored by Pittsburgh’s Kicker, Chris Boswell. If I can, I will probably just remove him from MDW’s roster so the standings can reflect reality.

Polaq jumped out to a big lead early with the combined scoring of Le’Veon Bell, Antonio Brown and Pittsburgh’s defense. If Pittsburgh keeps rolling, he may be tough to catch, though that prospect got a little easier when he lost his 2 NYG WR’s.

The Chiefs/Steelers game may be the biggest factor in determining who finishes in the money this year even though not a single Chiefs player is rostered 4 teams have Le’Veon alone, 2 teams have Antonio and Polaq has both of them. 4 teams have 0 Pittsburgh players.

I think we all assume NE will have their way with Houston, but can their skill players put up Pittsburgh’s numbers? If Houston wins his game….then the teams that took leads in week one are in good shape.

The Cowboy/Packer game is also significant. 6 teams took Zeke, but Enemy and NOJOQ also added Dez while Polaq took Zeke and Dak. Only Qonies (who also took Zeke) went Packer heavy. The Jordy Nelson injury already hurt MDW, Pimps and Qonies. We’ll see if he returns.

Shocking lack of Falcons selected. In the battle of the birds, Turds has the Seahawks Defense, Enemy has Baldwin, Bombers have Graham, Pimps has Freeman and Sooms has Julio. MDW needs a SEA win with Russell Wilson, Jimmy Graham and Seattle’s Defense (especially with Jordy’s injury and Odell’s quiet exit).

I predict 2 road teams will win this week.

65% Pittsburgh will win even without Joey Porter. They always seem to rally when one of their own is accused of assault at a club. The Steelers crushed KC in Pittsburgh early in the season and they appear to be rolling now.
35% Chiefs- They need to start quickly or put a physical hurt on the 3 B’s.

Who might the other road winner be?:

40% Seattle- They got their run game going against Detroit, keeping it going against Atlanta is not the hardest thing to see. If Seattle can get away with some extra physical play on defense they can win
60% Atlanta- Falcons are rested and healthy. Their offense should be the best unit on the field

40% Green Bay- Playing as they did against the Giants? The Giants stayed with Green Bay well into the 3rd quarter but fell apart with the loss of DRC. Jordy was lost early but apparently Cobb is now healthy, The loss of Jordy keeps this game from being a true coin flip game in my mind, but Rodgers could still easily show up Dak,
60% Dallas- Get to Rodgers, run Zeke. If Dallas starts smoothly the cameras should stay off Romo. The Giants couldn’t run on GB, Dallas will.

20% Houston- Could Clowney pressure Brady enough? Could Miller and Hopkins make enough plays for Houston to score 20+? Probably not. A Houston victory seems like it would have to be colored with NE turnovers, injuries or great special teams play…maybe all of the above.
80% New England- Bill Belichick and Tom Brady have 2 weeks to rest and prepare for….Brock Osweiller. Saying the Pats win this game 4 out of 5 times is being generous to the Texans and pays complete homage to the “Any Given Sunday” slogan of the NFL.

Good luck Deuce Q’s
