The Competition Committee has only one rule change to recommend prior to tomorrow’s July 15 deadline for implementing new rules changes for the upcoming season.

The NFL has changed their Injured Reserve rule to allow players to be recalled to active rosters after a certain amount of time instead of the old rule where they couldn’t come off.

As such, the Competition Committee has approved the following rule change and is asking you to vote on it:

Rule 14, Section 1, Article 3 is revised to

“During the regular season, one I.R. player may be reactivated prior to the kickoff of the first Week 12 game. This player is required to have spent a minimum of 5 weeks on I.R. and the team owner will pay a $20 reactivation fee. A player cannot take the reactivated player’s place on I.R.”
