Since the start of the season Thrice’s waiver wire hasn’t been clearing on Tuesday night. No one could figure it out – even Scott (the a.s.s.man) checked the settings – and it was really annoying, UNTIL NOW!

Apparently Dictator Doug beat around some lady named Linda over at A.S.S. until she fixed the problem.

From Dictator Doug.

After numerous phone calls and email’s to Linda’s ASS, I mean Linda at A.S.S., the FA system should finally be working.

Any players waived before 11:59pm on Monday nights will clear waivers if not picked up and be available to be in the FA on Wednesday evenings.

This is The Dictator’s first major military victory. His subjects can only wonder more about the details around the fix since it was reviewed so extensively by many QFL experts and nothing was found. This is, of course, fueling talk of finding a better platform.

RonMexiQ (9/30) in response to a free agency dispute resolution also pleads for a new hosting platform.

You are a fair and handsome commissioner, long live your rein. I didn’t bid on anyone because I didn’t realize they had been waived which is fine, my fault for assuming that ASS could do something simple that we pay them to do. I still hate this ASS site, it’s seriously like they decided to look at CBS, Yahoo and ESPN sites and say “How can we utilize the worst of every feature and make this as confusing as possible so no one in their right mind other than some idiots that have a 102743 page constitution with rules that not even the NFL itself can understand would use us.”

Seriously, can we dump this system, even if we have to convene some kind of Brenton Woods Summit to discuss how to change scoring (which I still believe should be done since a QB that throws for a 2 pt conversion gets 2 points but a QB that throws for a TD gets 4 points – seriously QFL1, seriously, Nangia was a mathlete in high school, check with him, a TD is worth 6 points, but I digress) so that we could use ESPN (which has all the other features that ASS does except they weren’t put in place by those monkeys from the careerbuilder commercial.

Yours In Christ,
RonMexiQ

Each QFL Nation owner can help find a new platform. When reviewing a potential new host, pay particular attention to how waivers/free agency is handled. Of all the rules that would have to be changed in order to make a platform change, the waiver and free agency bidding process would have to be the most drastic, and it is a cherished system. I would go as far as to call it a “sacred cow” rule. No platform offers blind bidding on waiver players and free agent players separately. As soon as one is found I guarantee we move, maybe mid-season even. No one likes A.S.S.
