It’s disappointing but not really surprising. After being forwarded the GW Hatchet article last night, QSN reached out to fellow DC Alpha and CEO of American Juice Company Chris W. today who confirmed over email that they do not have, and have no plans to create, a quince based blended mixer drink. I told him I’d send him some ideas. Who has that Quince Martini recipe?

Q. Do you have any plans to offer a quince based drink mix?
A. Quince? I haven’t heard a request for that before! Have you had a cocktail that made you think of it? At the moment we do not but we do have a Pear & Mountain Thyme blend coming out very shortly called the Yogi Pearra.
Well at least pear is a fruit in the same fruit family classification (Malinae) as quince. Close enough. It counts.
