Rob (NOJOQ) easily dispatched Nik (Membrillos) to claim QFL2’s Quince Bowl Championship. Nik took an additional kick to the family jewels with the detonation of AP’s knee, but still takes home 2nd place winnings.

Keith (MDW) concludes a nice first year with 3rd place winnings on top of 4 skins. He defeated Brandon (Catch) (who takes 4th place money) in what appeared to be the closest match up of week 16.

I (Qonies) take 5th place with a victory over 6th place finisher Will (Turds).

In the Consolation Bracket:

Dan (Pimps) wins the cash prize and the overall #1 rookie pick of 2012. He held off Tarek (Enemy) who remained a torrid scorer. Tarek’s 2nd place finish secured the #2 overall rookie pick for Qonies.

Ed (Polaq) also won to give Qonies the #3 overall rookie pick of 2012, beating John (Bombers) who has to settle for the #6 pick in the rookie draft.

Now for the silliness.

Completely inconsequential to the rest of the Deuce, Reuven (Sooms) played Brian (Quahogs) for the distinction of NOT being the worst. If you just glance at the scores Sooms wins by 14.64 pts. However, Reuven elected to play 1 QB, 1 RB, 4 WR, 1 TE , 1 K and 1 DEF. That’s right, he had too many men on the field. If this had any impact on anything at all, there would be a fine here, but in this case…….We’ll simply correct the scoring by removing Reuven’s highest scoring “extra” player. HIs QB, RB, K and DEF are all necessary for a legal line up. So Reggie Wayne and his 15.57 points are shelved leaving Brian ahead by 0.93.

Brian was going to get the #4 and Reuven the #5 rookie picks anyway, but Reuven’s final hiccup of execution costs him those final few $$ that come along with last place.
