The QFL rookie draft may look unpredictable, but the madness is actually pretty easy to forecast.

This mock accounts for the things that make the QFL different from a generic rookie draft: league homers, handcuffs, roster needs, and questionable decision-making.

With two weeks to go, 10 picks have already changed hands.

QOJIRA [pictured left] controls the 1.01 and has three picks total. QBC has five picks, including Nos. 3 and 12. Qbola has four picks and owns Nos. 5 and 10. Deuce Q’s has two first-rounders at 4 and 6.

Meanwhile, TenQ and FahQ own zero picks because, apparently, they know this class stinks.

The Mock

1. QOJIRA — Jeremiyah Love
The 1.01 gives QOJIRA the chance to grab the potential cornerstone of the class.

2. A TRIBE CALLED QUINCE — Makai Lemon
Philadelphia homer alert. Sometimes fantasy scouting begins and ends with your favorite team’s jersey.

3. QUINCING BY COMMITTEE — Carnell Tate
A straightforward talent pick—and they get another first-round swing later.

4. The Deuce Q’s — Jadarian Price
First of two picks for Deuce Q’s. Take the guy you want before somebody else does.

5. Qbola — Jordyn Tyson
Qbola’s first of two first-rounders gives them another chance to add premium talent.

6. The Deuce Q’s — KC Concepcion
Back-to-back picks acquired from ORIGINAL QUINCELER. Deuce Q’s controls the middle of the round.

7. SirQuinceALot — Fernando Mendoza
Las Vegas QB, with the long-term need for a future quarterback driving the pick.

8. Lil’ Qties — Omar Cooper Jr.
Another homer pick. The Jets connection is doing some heavy lifting here.

9. QTANG CLAN — Jonah Coleman
The classic fantasy pick: Denver handcuff to Harvey.

10. Qbola — Antonio Williams
Qbola returns with another first-rounder, this time adding a Washington homer.

11. QUINCE UNITED — Mike Washington Jr.
Another handcuff play, this time Jeanty’s backup in Las Vegas.

12. QUINCING BY COMMITTEE — Denzel Boston
After picking at No. 3, they close the round with their second first-round selection.

The Bottom Line

This isn’t simply a ranking of the best rookies. It’s a prediction of how QFL managers actually draft.

You can predict the homers. You can predict the handcuffs. You can predict the teams desperate for a quarterback.

What you can’t predict is whether any of those picks will look smart six months from now.

And with 10 picks already changing hands, this mock could be obsolete before draft night even arrives.

That’s the QFL.
