Where's Waldo?

In a shocking development the owner of the QFL’s QUnet franchise, one of the winningest in QFL history, is said to be calling it quits after 12 years.  According to an email received only by QSN, Barron unceremoniously announced the sale of his franchise at 2:21PM ET Monday .

Announcement from Barron.

QUNET franchise is for sale.  Free to good home actually.  If you have anyone in mind please let me know.

Barron has not responded to follow-up inquiries.

If Barron is serious about leaving, it will be the first QFL ownership change in 11 years (the last was the Duggan takeover the of the Mannion/Wagner debacle in 2000). Barron would be leaving the first two-time Champion franchise and one of the most profitable in the League, though, maybe not over the last few years.

QUNet’s current roster:

QB 18 L5 Rodgers, Aaron GB 222.9
RB 27 L8 Turner, Michael ATL 168.5
WR 1 L2 Wallace, Mike PIT 162.7
TM 3 L1 Def/Spec Team, Giants NYG 159
TM 9 L5 Def/Spec Team, Vikings MIN 137
RB 9 L1 Jackson, Fred BUF 123
WR 2 S2 Crabtree, Michael SF 99.6
K 2 L1 Rackers, Neil HOU 93
RB 2 L1 Blount, LeGarrette TB 93
RB 2 L1 Hightower, Tim ARZ 83.8
K 1 L1 Reed, Jeff SF 72
WR 7 L2 Driver, Donald GB 71.2
RB 2 L2 Williams, Ricky MIA 67.8
WR 1 L1 (QFLE) Nelson, Jordy GB 57.2
TE 1 L2 Miller, Heath PIT 53.8
QB 2 S2 Stafford, Matthew DET 39.3
RB 8 L1 Bush, Reggie NO 36.8
RB 3 S1 Spiller, C.J. BUF 36
RB 1 S1 (QFLE) Dixon, Anthony SF 30.4
WR 1 L1 Chambers, Chris KC 29.2

If Barron doesn’t come to his senses, it will not be very hard to find a new owner. If/when Barron gets back to me with a further explanation, i’ll update this post.
