A hand-picked panel of experts is currently e-mail bombing various fantasy football websites to see who can handle the QFL’s unique free agent requirements. Right now it appears that having both a waiver system and FAAB bidding is a stumbling block for all of the big boys. RTSports and CBSSportsline have said thanks but no thanks, with RTSports promising they’d add it to an enhancements list before they ignore it. ESPN’s answer was vague, but I think they might respond eventually. If you have any other websites the panel should bother, please leave the name in the comments section.

Yahoo: I understand you would like the option to have a weekly waiver system then have all managers bid on free agents after players are released
from waivers. Regretfully, the feature you’re requesting is not currently available. However, we’ll be happy to forward this feature to the product team as an enhancement request. We appreciate your suggestion, and we will give it consideration when we prioritize new features for Yahoo! Fantasy Sports.”

Sportsline: “You can only use one of the 2 options. If you have any additional questions we’ll be more than happy to assist you.”

RTSports: “We do not currently have those options. We are always looking to improve our site and this idea is something that I’ll suggest for possible implementation in future seasons. Suggestions get considered in the offseason based on overall demand and feasibility.”

ESPN: “Thank you for contacting us. We value feedback and suggestions from our fans. Your suggestion regarding Fantasy Football is very much appreciated and will be forwarded to the appropriate department for review.”

  1. Thanks for running ths search wiseguy. Ive heard thru the grapevine that Thrice is subtly threatening to secede if we dont find some new a.s.s. service. Have you heard that?

  2. Sources can confirm that a vocal, albeit small, cadre of owners has threatened secession if certain demands are not met. Two big issues are rosters locking at game time rather than 12:55 for all teams and mobile capabilities.

  3. Tarek says his Hotboxsports.com is supposed to be up for customizable FFL’s in 2012. Anybody want to deal with him on set up?
