QUINCE UNITED 3 0 235.15 177.39 There is a secret society of underground Hans worshipers praying he becomes the 12th unique QFL Champion in 16 years. Since 2003 Hans’ best finish is 4th in 2011*. So far so good after easily beating the only other undefeated team by 25 points in week 3. But has to play Ted next with 3 key starters on a bye (Ball, Lynch, Sanders). Don’t sweat it though, Quince United owns the second most top 100 scoring players (after 3 weeks) in the QFL with 11. So this run could be for real. *Can’t find the 2004 Commissioner Report. More Hans trivia: Hans won the loser bracket in 2009 – selecting Ryan Mathews with the #1 pick in 2010. He also won the 2003 loser bowl and selected Kevin Jones #1 overall in 2004.
QTANG CLAN 2 1 224.17 189.83 No AP, no problem. But can Benny afford to leave the #11 highest scoring player on the bench every week for much longer? Expect him to start shopping Wilson soon.
TENACIOUS Q 2 1 216.84 186.6 Highest week 3 score but nowhere close to a skin winner. You’re welcome for dragging down the week 4 average to win a skin to 86.80.
QBOLA VIRUS 2 1 200.5 172.84 Explain to me how you leave Alshon Jeffrey on the bench for the last two weeks? Hey, a win is a win.
A TRIBE CALLED QUINCE 2 1 196.67 190.54 The widely ridiculed July 11 trade of Bernard Pierce for San Diego D is looking pretty good so far. The 308th in scoring for the 68th in scoring.
QUINTORRIS JONES 2 1 169.44 154.66 Not a single defense is available in The QFL (Qbola is hoarding the most with 4) but we expect Jax Def to get dropped by QJ any day now as the team already has two others to satisfy the position minimum rule and they’ve all scored more than the cumulative 2 total points over 3 games that Jax Def has. Even free agent Austin Davis offers more value for $1. I thought this team was better managed.
QUINCING BY COMMITTEE 2 1 160.88 172.98 71 points scored in the Wash/Phi game and McCoy and Sproles put up less than 4 total fantasy points between them?! That is not going to happen often, but I still don’t like this team.
THE INQUINCIBLES 1 2 214.72 232.96 4th highest scoring team getting unlucky early in season facing highest points against so far.
STORMTROOPERS OF QUINCE 1 2 190.12 224.3 Scott’s strategy of picking up any and every viable free agent seems to be working. SOQ owns 12 of the top 100 highest scoring players, the most in the League. But its decision time soon. Around The QFL, 25 players have to be trimmed from active rosters by next Thursday. Scott has the most decisions with 13 (not counting potential IR moves). Expect him to start shopping some guys this week/weekend. Ted and Seth have the next most guys to cut, 4 & 5 respectively.
FAHQ 1 2 188.81 209.75 There are more free agents in the top 100 than belong to FahQ. Started Bobby Rainey over Knile Davis…?!! At least has Fred Jackson in there now and Shane is crushing it in The Masters League.
ORIGINAL QUINCELER 0 3 180.6 197.41 Too many leagues syndrome? Three kids syndrome? Rishi is also 0-3 in QFL Masters. One other big problem is he owns the least number of players in the top 100 highest scoring after 3 weeks (4). Rishi and Hans are the only two team’s with $1 in cap space remaining to play with.
FREDNEQ 0 3 161.95 230.59 Alright, alright, I admit, Redskins players are not this team’s only problem. They did score 80% of FRNQ’s week 3 points. But better hurry up and start winning, there are 10 regular season games left and FRNQ needs to win 7 of them to have a chance of making the playoffs.
