The QFL’s cut deadline passed Saturday night at 11pm with almost no problems. Only Rishi submitted his keepers late (by 51 minutes). This is the second or third year in a row he has submitted late. Clearly grounds for a larger than usual fine.

This is the first year the keeper declaration process has been conducted by KeeperCommish and so far people seem happy with the results. Except for the results of the rankings. According to the $2.99 League Reports available from the service, SOQ is set to field the best team with a QRank of 50 while TenQ scored the worst with a QRank of 85. The rankings formula is in obvious need of a reconfiguration.

The best available free agent is Reggie Wayne. Sadly Jacobs is the best RB.

Scott has already updated the A.S.S. software.

A.S.S. has  been updated.  Please check your roster for accuracy.

I noticed the following discrepancies while doing the updates.  Let me know ASAP if you disagree with the outcome.

  1. Many people entered “S3” as a contract status.  There is no such thing in A.S.S.  We have been using the “O” for years as the 3rd year rookie contract.  I assumed this was the intention in all cases.
  2. Rishi : Gore was in the software as an L2 (not L5) and therefore was updated to L3 instead of L6.
  3. Paul : I assumed the “L4F” for AJ meant “L7”
  4. Ted : Pierre Thomas was in the software with a salary of $2, so he was updated L4/$2 instead of L4/$3.
  5. Shane : Meachem was in the software as an L2 (not L1), so he was updated to L3/$2 instead of L2/$1 (I feel like I remember you saying that the software was wrong about this a while ago, but I couldn’t find that comment after a quick email search).
